This may have been asked before, apologies if so. I only got on board the Aurora train 3 months back, so I haven’t been through a major update cycle.
How long does it normally take to get Aurora based on Fedora 43 out the door after Fedora mainline is released? No pushing of course, it should be released when ready. Just curious how much work it usually entails and how long it takes.
How does updating to a new Fedora major release work?¶
Bazzite should automatically update when our new builds based on that new major release are ready, and usually aims for the around the same day when the new Fedora Linux major release is out.
I hope I understood your question properly. So from my understanding it doesn’t take long at all to incorporate a major Fedora release into Bazzite.
For stable branch, is something like 2 weeks after release, depending a little bit on CoreOS releases. For latest its few days or sometimes even the same day
