Drawing Tablet Issues. Pen Buttons Do Not Register

Hi all.

I have a Veikk VK1060Pro drawing tablet. I installed Open Tablet Driver using the ujust command, tablet is detected correctly and all seems to be good. I assigned “right click” command to pen button 1, but it just won’t work.

I ensured the driver recognized pen buttons, using the debugger menu. Both pen buttons are recognized when I press them. However they just won’t do what they are assigned to. I am thinking maybe it is a Wayland issue, kind of like how shortcuts do not work with OBS Studio as a limitation of Wayland.

If anyone could help me with this I would appreciate it. Not a huge deal breaker, pen pressure is working correctly and all, I would just love to have the pen buttons work. Not being able to right click is kind of a pain in the buttocks. Thanks a lot in advance.

Once again, reading the effin’ manual helped a lot. Turns out in artist mode, you cannot use regular button keybinds. You need to use artist mode keybinds. Now, artist mode has only 3 available keybinds, one is right click (thankfully,) the other middle click and the third one is probably the eraser, which I do not have on my pen.

Figure out the right click problem, but still can’t figure out how to monitor swap. Downloaded monitor switch plugin but having a hard time configuring it. Multi monitor setup itself is a bit janky so once I figure that out, I will update the post with an answer for that as well.

If anyone can help with the monitor switch function though, I would really appreciate it.
