Disk space

Hi all,

I have a unique 2TB hard drive.

When I run the Gnome disk usage utility, I see

  • the HOME location with no indication about the storage quantity,
  • the root location with 33GB total capacity

I guess the 33GB is half of my RAM (I have 64GB), but how do I see about the remaing locations?

In other words, how do I read remaining usable disk space, and under what location is it usable?

Thank you, and I wish you a happy new year.

I’m not a gnome user, but if you look in the terminal you can see easily.

Your home location is actually under /var/home.

➜ df -h /var/home
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/nvme1n1p3 1.9T 402G 1.5T 22% /var/home
