I know this must be doable, and could have done it 25 years ago but how do you do it with modern software?
I have a nice AMD Bazzite box at my desk. The next room over is my cigar smoking room, where I have a Mac Mini running MacOS current hooked up to my TV. Both are on wifi and have unused gigabit ethernet ports.
The wifi isn’t quite good enough for a decent game streaming experience. (I’m not asking for much, 1080p/30 is fine at couch to TV viewing distance, but you know how wifi is.) I could just run a cable. I don’t want to double NAT, I want both computers to use wifi except between each other.
Can anybody point me in the right direction? Also, with current hardware do I need a crossover cable?
