I have an Asus G14 GU405AR (2026 model) Laptop with Intel/Nvidia graphics card. To make the display backlight control work with bazzite (44.20260908, Kernel 7.2.3-ogc3.1.fc44.x86_64) i have to set xe.enable_dpcd_backlight=2 in grub.
xe.enable_dpcd_backlight=1 also makes backlight control work, but then the display stays black during LUKS passphrase request and you’d have to type the passphrase blind in order to boot the device.
What is the best way to report this, to make display backlight control work for all users of this Laptop?
