# Yubico Authenticator stopped working

I also had some interprocess-communication problems [a while ago](https://universal-blue.discourse.group/t/aurora-stable-stream-goes-fedora-41/5074/3) because of a protocol version mismatch. I installed Yubico Authenticator as a [standalone binary](https://www.yubico.com/products/yubico-authenticator/#h-linux) and that solved the problem for me.
