Hi everyone,
After a flawless installation of Bazzite, ( my first installation of Linux ever! and in dual boot.. very friendly distribution.) I’ve run into a couple of minor issues that I can’t seem to figure out. I would really appreciate some help!
Just for context: I am a total Linux beginner, Bazzite is my very first install, and age-wise, I’m definitely a boomer. So please, keep your explanations as simple and step-by-step as possible.
- Network & Video Playback Issues:
The network card works, but downloading on Steam completely saturates my bandwidth, causing YouTube videos to freeze. On Windows, the system balances this out automatically. Furthermore, even when nothing is downloading, videos have a brief 1-second hiccup before starting. Again, this doesn’t happen on Windows. - Monitor & Adaptive Sync Issue:
My main monitor is a 48" LG OLED (G series), and Adaptive Sync works perfectly fine on it. However, on my second monitor (an Eizo Foris 2735 connected via DP), Adaptive Sync causes issues: the screen starts flickering at 144Hz or turns completely black at 120Hz. Interestingly, if I just set Adaptive Sync to “Automatic”, it works perfectly fine.
Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated!
