# Pixel Earbud Pro - won't connect

I’m having trouble connecting my pixel earbuds. I can see them to pair, and when I click to pair them, the spinner starts… but eventually stops without connecting. I’ve tried multiple times, I’ve updated and rebooted, but no good.

Also, I _can_ connect to my older Bose II headphones with no problem.

Any ideas?

My pixel buds 2 pros I can only connect and pair through the cli tool bluetoothctl

So put headphones to pairing mode and in terminal launch `bluetoothctl`

Then type `scan on` you should start seeing different devices listed. Copy the mac address of the pixel buds and

`connect <mac address>`

Once you see successful connection type `pair <mac address` and finally `trust <mac address>`

That is how I got mine paired and working on Aurora/bluefin
