# Nvidia 570 Driver - Black Screen when booting games - fixed by disabling Adaptive Sync

I’m seeing the same thing. Also on Bazzite-Nvidia-Open. Unfortunately I had Adaptive Sync set to Always which means after a reboot I just got a black screen. Luckily unplugging the HDMI cable and then plugging it back in resets the Plasma display settings and turns Active Sync off. I’ve rolled back to the previous system to get Active Sync working again.
