Machine sleeping almost immediately after waking

This might be a Bazzite thing, or maybe a Fedora 43 thing, or maybe just my machine. It’s only started happening recently.

After waking my machine from sleep (not hibernation), 10 - 20secs into doing what ever I’m doing, the machine goes to sleep again. Some times several times in a row.

This is even though I’m mousing around, or typing.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I’d definitely test that with a Fedora Live USB stick to see if it’s something Fedora specific to your hardware and Kernel.

Now that’s an idea. I have a Fedora 42 iso I can try also, to establish it was the 42 → 43 change possibly.
