If I do not use the sound for awhile, Bazzite 45 it will turn off my sound on my soundbar, when that happens the soundbar does not detect my computer anymore, I use optical cable, why does it do that it is annoying. Can this be fixed, it never happened with Bazzite 44.

Optical output going idle after a period of silence and the soundbar then failing to re-detect the PC points more toward the audio stack’s power-saving or profile-switching behaviour than the cable itself. Since it started with 45, I’d compare the PipeWire and WirePlumber versions between the two releases and look for changes to idle/suspend handling for S/PDIF. Checking whether the sink disappears entirely or just goes quiet when it happens would help narrow it down. As a workaround, keeping a silent audio stream running may prevent the output from idling.

It only started when I updated to Bazzite 45, on Bazzite 44 I did not have this issue.
