AMD and Intel users just need to use the non-nvidia images, Linux kernels and drivers support them by default
Hi,
I rebased successfully from Fedora Silverblue to bluefin-dx-nvidia on my home laptop. I followed the same process on a work pc to bluefin-dx, and I donāt have the bazaar app store and am wondering if anything else is missing. Is there a command I can run to install the default apps?
I tried this but it autoselects 0 and aborts:
```ujust install-system-flatpaks
UPDATE: I found this Bluefin Autumn 2025: We visit the Bazaar Ā· ublue-os/bluefin Ā· Discussion #3510 Ā· GitHub
Deleted the fedora flatpak repo, and ran the ujust install flatpak command above successfully. Is there anything else I might need to do or should this cover it? Thx
thanks
You seem to be on the legacy-nvidia image. That image is dead and wont get any updates, and will also not get the flatpak bazaar. That image is propably still on F41 base which means bazaar is not available.
You need to move away from that image, depending on your nvidia gpu to nvidia-open (if you have a 16XX or newer) or to the main image (you will lose nvidia stuff)
Extinction is a natural part of life. After a deprecation cycle
the following images are now removed:
Nvidia Closed Images: Due to Nvidia's software support changes we can no longer
support the older closed modules for Nvidia cards. Not many people are using these,
either migrate to the nvidia-open images or move to a stock image to use the built
in kernel drivers.
Hi -
The work pc I was asking about is on bluefin-dx with no nvidia drivers.
The other pc that has no issues is on bluefin-dx-nvidia. The readme in the link below and the image released 6 days ago made it seem active and legit, which is why I got it not knowing about -open, and I somehow did get the flatpak bazaar switching to it. Good to know. Thanks. Iāll try switching that one to bluefin-dx-nvidia-open.
