Is it possible to dual-boot two uBlue distros or two fedora based distros? Grub seems to be overwritten on each install so I’m only left with one bootable distro.

I realised that it’s actually really simple, I just need to make two EFI and two boot partitions.

It’s not there because it’s unsupported but we can’t really stop you from trying. 😄

It’s the same as dual-booting on any silverblue based distro, I allocated some free space, formatted it as btrfs, used the existing Windows efi partition, and hit install.

There seems to be a bug where on silverblue distros, it fails to install without formatting the efi partition, so you can either make a new one or format it, I formatted mine and just rebuilt the Windows EFI using installation media.

Ok thanks for the heads up.

I honestly dont want to bork my w11 install as im actually really enjoying it after been 12mths windows free where everything literally works perfectly well on w11., especially excellent battery life on laptop

Im yet to get the same level of experience from linux. Not even the same level of enjoyment was felt in nixos tbh.

sorry if this is off topic, but how can we change the order of the grub? I really want to use the other distro as default so I don’t have to wait for the grub to load and then arrow down. Couldn’t find a solution on this forum

Are you able to do it with:

```auto
ujust configure-grub ACTION=""
```

I’ve never tried it but that might be the right direction, or maybe even:

```auto
ujust regenerate-grub
```

might be worth a shot if you are booted into the image you want as default, but that is a wild guess.

EDIT:
Sorry, just saw I was in general and not bazzite.
I ran the command and it allows you to hide, unhide, and remove duplicate entries. So that wont help your case, but you can try looking at the just file to see how they are accomplishing that and tweak it for your case.
just file location is:

```auto
/usr/share/ublue-os/just/80-bazzite.just
```
