No luck unfortunately, but that does help me narrow down the possible issues quite a bit knowing that it should otherwise be working. Thank you again! I was having an issue with my external drives being accessible in the free version of Davinci Resolve, so maybe it does have something to do with USB permissions.

It seems like this information is maybe outdated? When I try the suggested “ujust install-resolve” command in the terminal, I just get an error saying that the “Justfile does not contain recipe `install-resolve`”?

What’s the current recommended method to do this?

its not supported anymore. I’m not really a big user of resolve so I’m not sure about any missing features but you can install the free and pro version as a flatpak [GitHub - pobthebuilder/resolve-flatpak: Flatpak packaging for Blackmagicdesign DaVinci Resolve · GitHub](https://github.com/pobthebuilder/resolve-flatpak) which is what I did.

Oh… Thanks for the tip. I had a look on the Bazaar store but when I didnt find it I didn’t consider a directly hosted flatpak.

I’ll have a look - thanks a lot! 😊
