I’m looking to rebase from bazzite-nvidia-open to bazzite-dx however it seems there’s no nvidia-open version of it. Am I missing something? Or is there a specific reason why it’s not available?

I was updating my image and was like, wait why am I not on 43? Then I read the release announcement and got a bit sad. I’m switching to the bazzite-nvidia-open as base image now.

thank you, though that’s probably a bit more tinkering than I’m prepared for. I mostly wanted to try out dx, so I guess I’ll just wait till maybe the open variant will sometime be officially supported.

DX is future-focused, so dx-nvidia is using the open driver. There is not and won’t be a version of dx with the legacy driver.
